The short version: UK FREEBIES is reader-supported. When you buy software through links on this site, we may earn an affiliate commission from the vendor — including AppSumo. You never pay more. The price you see is the price you pay; the commission comes out of the vendor's marketing budget, not your wallet.
What affiliate links are
An affiliate link contains a tracking code that tells the vendor "this customer came from UK FREEBIES". If you complete a purchase, the vendor pays us a percentage of the sale. All outbound deal links on this site are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page source, in line with Google's guidelines for paid and affiliate links.
Our affiliate relationships
- AppSumo — we participate in the AppSumo affiliate programme (operated via Impact). Most "Get deal" buttons on this site link to AppSumo product pages through our partner link.
- Other software vendors — occasionally we link to vendors directly when a freebie or trial is best claimed from the source. Freebie links are not monetised.
What this never affects
- Our verdicts. We publish cons alongside pros, and we score weak deals low even when we'd earn a commission — see the Kortex review for an example.
- Which freebies we list. Free tools and free-forever plans earn us nothing. We list them because they're genuinely good, and they keep the site honest.
- Your price. Affiliate tracking never changes what you pay. Promo codes we publish work exactly the same whether you arrive via our link or directly.
Promo codes
We only publish codes we have seen working at checkout. Vendors rotate codes without notice — if a code fails, the deal link itself will still carry the current discount, and we'd appreciate you telling us so we can pull the dead code.
