About UK FREEBIES
We're deals hunters. We scan the software marketplace every day so you only ever pay the lowest price — or nothing at all.
Why this site exists
Software subscriptions quietly eat small-business budgets. Meanwhile, lifetime deals and genuinely free tools are scattered across dozens of marketplaces, launch feeds and vendor pricing pages. UK FREEBIES collects the good ones in one feed, checks every price, and publishes working promo codes — nothing else.
How we review
Every deal on the feed is checked before it goes live, and re-checked while it stays up:
- Real price, real discount. We verify the deal price against the vendor's regular pricing. Fake "was" prices never make the feed.
- Current availability. Expired or sold-out deals get pulled, not padded. If a countdown is showing, the deal window is live.
- Feature limits read properly. Lifetime deal tiers are full of fine print — monthly credits, seat caps, per-device licences. We surface the limits that matter in the cons.
- Community signal. User ratings and review sentiment from the marketplace feed into our verdict score (out of 10).
- Cons are mandatory. No review ships without them. A deal page with only praise is marketing, not a review.
What counts as a freebie
We keep a strict definition: free means free. Free-forever plans, cardless free trials with clear terms, and genuinely free tools. We do not list "free" offers that hide fees, require a purchase, sneak in subscriptions, or make cancellation hard. If a trial needs payment details, we say so on the card.
The hot meter
The temperature next to each deal works like a community vote: tap 🔥 if a deal is genuinely hot, ❄ if it's not worth it. Your votes are stored in your own browser and nudge the temperature — no account, no tracking, no server.
Money & independence
We earn affiliate commissions on some links — it keeps the site free and never costs you a penny extra. It doesn't buy a good verdict: weak deals get weak scores regardless. Full details on our affiliate disclosure page.
